Tried it out last night with the AUKEY and it seems that it does the same thing. It would charge for awhile, then when I would come back it would be stopped. It did not seem to fill up the juice on the headphones. It must be a current sensing issue.

Hmm that is an interesting case. My guess is that your headphones might pull so little current that the Anker PowerCore shuts itself off because it thinks that nothing is charging.
