Looks like there's a mix of male gazey figures and ones dressed in more practical armor. It's a step up from the so many fantasy works that pretty much have women exclusively in chainmail bikinis.

Seems like someone is upset about gun regulation?
I didn't really agree with Lindy on her examples of "funny" rape jokes. I still felt they were making light of rape and possibly by extension rape victims.
They are so out of touch that it's mind boggling. I can't even.
"Sexually aggressive" to me means disrespecting someone's sexual boundaries, or even being violent. No matter the gender. Why isn't that scary and evil?
Break through barriers in what way?
The same reason why people wouldn't want "sexually aggressive" men?
Maybe some of them aren't actually pseudonyms...like the ones on twitter. I don't think contacting their employers/etc should be completely off the table.
When they see rape jokes being made and praised, they think they are getting validated.
Was that last part really necessary?
Why do we NEED comedy to have total freedom? Comedy can be nice, but is it worth perpetuating rape culture?
Yup, let's ban mannequins instead of educating people not to rape and harass others.
It isn't. Those big muscley men are a power fantasy for the heterosexual males who created those characters. They want to be the men with the muscles. It's pretty simple. Do you honestly think that comic book creators made those men characters bulky to please the tastes of women? You are conflating two different…
Right. It's like some people apply some special prerequisite for gays.
Do you really think there are no 11 year olds who felt attracted to the opposite sex either?
Transmen don't need to want to have a penis. All any adult has to do to be a man is to identify as one.
This got me thinking.
This is partly why I get a little creeped out when people gender their pets. Obviously it doesn't "hurt" the pets being called "she" or "he," but it does remind me of gender essentialism.
I don't think we're going to come to an agreement here. I would say that his answer would only be remarkable if he included how other men/people are treated in addition to women.
