Does “deja vu” have a meaning in this series that means something other what it means to me (and most people)? I am old enough to know that that term existed long before The Matrix.

Add in The City of Lost Children for full effect.

“But if you want to sit at the cool table you watch the series, along with Dark City. Then we can talk.”

I cannot stand the style of comedy that relies on people being annoyed or too polite/shocked to stop it, especially as a captive audience. It’s lazy comedy, and generally not even very well-done.

Thought his tone was bad there? Then you’ll love the way he treats this homeless guy:

“He is one giant erectile dysfunction.”

He should be gasping “My bad!” from an ICU bed.

He’s not even a celebrity! He's just an opportunist.

He’s a libertarian. If you get infected because of him, it's your fault because you didn't try hard enough to avoid it and now you want the government to take care of you.

It is a grotesque, painful, cruel, disgusting monster.

Yeah pancreatic cancer is often quick although one week is pretty insane. A diagnosis comes with only the slightest bit of hope.

The problem is, that doesn’t work from a public health perspective. Someone goes out, hangs out unnecessarily with other people, comes home and coughs in the common-area of an apartment, and now their grandmother and everyone who passed through the common areas of the grocery store, the bodega, and their apartment

I’m Whitey McWhiterson, and I'd never, ever ask the cops for help in a minority neighborhood. I assume that gesture increases the chances of escalation and harm.

I live in NYC and I’ve even seen security in, like, Ann Taylor. It’s not just the high-end stores, but I agree - not a crazy idea at all. I’ve actually been wondering about crime rates recently - at this point, unless looting suddenly becomes a thing, I think it’s more important for cops to be patrolling parks for

This is literally the only good news I can recall hearing for several days.

Speaking as a Black person, skin folk ain’t kinfolk. Every Uncle Tom and Aunt Jemima who support the white supremacist in office will have their day. Until then, keep your eyes on the prize and vote 45 out of office in November, no matter what.
