Eh.. on the debate thing- he’s qualified for NV and didn’t qualify for earlier debates because he didn’t want to have to do the farcical Steyer thing where you spend millions just to raise 250k because of the asinine donation threshold.

Don’t underrate spite! He clearly fucking hates Trump and watching him take shots at the big orange douche has been one of the highlights of this cycle.

This. I wouldn’t ever vote for him in the primary but on most issues he’s to the left of say Joe Manchin and on at least one issue he’s to the left of Bernie Sanders.

It’s shitty but it’s also her job she’s a defense attorney she’s supposed to defend her client.

Which one?

If he wasn’t such a complete fucking idiot you’d wonder if this wasn’t a bonus add-on for Trump.

The degree to which Trump’s basically pissing on Susan Collins’s re-election chances is-- if you look at it outside of the horror that is our dying polity-- fucking hilarious.

I mean ....father-daughterish ...we sure that means platonic in this specific case?

So......she’s Trump’s caretaker right?

Eh in 2008 and 2016 the clear preference of Black and Brown voters won the nomination. The reason that’s unlikely this time is because Biden’s collapsing.

Bernie turns a lot of voters off; regardless of policy a lot of voters just don’t like him.

The bros declaring a Fatwah on the most powerful union in NV seems like a really stupid fucking idea if they want Sanders to do well in the upcoming caucus

Wait, wasn't that Bernie and his boy Heath Mayo?

I think a large part of it is that Bernie just isn’t that well liked by a good chunk of the base regardless of ideology— his support among older voters is roughly as strong as Biden’s among younger voters.

Yeah that and old people not liking him at all is hugely problematic for his candidacy

Push members to one of the moderate options who aren't pushing M4A-- this is on the Sanders campaign, they had to know that unions were going to have issues with M4A in the same way they have to know that Reproductive Rights groups have some issues with his approach.

I know we all like to dunk on Pete but in terms of sheer political talent the degree to which he’s outperformed his resume is deeply impressive— it’s not really scalable his strengths are clearly debates and retail politics of type that isn’t transferable as the races broaden from two relatively low population states

She wasn’t a great candidate, I don’t know if I’d say she was terrible she was on par with Kerry or Gore or Romney, her problem (and our problem as a party for any candidate for a few decades) is that she was compared to Obama.

And Obama lost NH with that 36%

Because Berne and his Bros at the DNC pushed hard to keep caucuses after 2016?
