I was kind of wondering what they classify that idiots on the various vapid left podcasts as if they hate on podcasts that actually support real political work

And yet it has to be repeated because people like Paul are apparently ignorant of the basic facts of political history

I think people online are ignoring that Biden apparently has a large and persistent base of support, in part because those supporters aren’t as online as other segments of the Democratic Party

I mean my counter to the “movement” idea is that if such a movement was in any way materializing wouldn’t Bernie be a stronger candidate than he currently is?

The Carter example is what scares me- he was so far out of step with average Dem Senator that he was incredibly ineffective on domestic policy

I hear you and all, but my counter is this- barring the emergence of an Obama/FDR level figure who can generate a wave of enthusiasm and massive Congressional majorities how do either of those items pass in the first place without the filibuster being repealed? 

I mean Trump is definitely dumb enough to off-handedly brag about classified activities, he’s done it in the past so that could be a possibility.

I mean, honestly I’d imagine it’s probably easier than being short (say sub-5' 6“) for a man, and if you swapped the genders this movie would just seem whiney.

So... The lead charscter is shorter than my taller sister, and other than it helping in sports the only real impact I can remember from high school is her having to shop online at sites specializing in shoes for trans folks when she bought shoes for prom (and even then it was largely because she had big feet for a man…

The only possible way this could be true (other than Mattis dodging to get Trump to back down) is if Trump wanted a massive strike with a specialized munition (not ammunition) that we don’t carry a ton of (because they’re highly, speciized and otherwise useless) - like a MOAB or the biggest bunker busters.

Aren’t homebrews like that what’s actually been the root of most of the illnesses have been traced?

Because the US is what the more delusional Brexiteers still view the UK as- a superpower; basicay the Trump gets thr kid gloves treatment for the same reason China does or to a far lesser extent why the Saudis get a pass.
