That doesn't bode well for Sanders whose name recognition is nearly as high as Biden’s and has half Biden’s support.

I don't know you see a lot of people on here who can't seem to let the 2016 Primary go

So it’s like folks who blame the outcome of the 2016 Primaries onnthe DNC instead of the shortcomings of the Sanders Campaign?

Who did Harry Reid let "push him out of office"?

Harry Reid was our McConnell for both good and ill- he delivered, worked his caucus and knew the vote counts on any significant issue

I don’t think Reid is opposing that, there’s a huge difference between running on M4A which has significant polling drawbacks whenever it’s more explicitly laid out vs. running on Healthcare Reform generally and/or the public option.

By that logic we should run on gun confiscation and abortion on demand- running maximalist position isn't a great way to win elections.

A few basic points- Social Security as originally passed specifically and purposefully excluded professions with high levels of African-American participation (primarily agriculture and domestic service jobs) - it was improved as it went on.

This is the new thing where an actual troll (you) calls out someone for commenting huh?

Seriously though now that you mentioned it... Wtf is Ivanka wearing... A denim peasant blouse?

That’s a good one— to be fair to the man, he does have some strong achievements to go with his shitty votes- VAWA, the Brady Bill, etc but he’s never been a fluid politician even when he was younger and he’s legitimately problematic on banking in the same way a lot of Dems are shitty on industries or issues that

Cool, so...no alternative policy achievement more substantial than the ACA since the 60s huh?

Because implementation was gutted by the Supreme Court and because as with Social Security when it was passed the ACA required some policy compromises to get through Congress.

Well Jesus now you just sold an upside for Beto somehow getting the nomination- thirsty Melania at the debates.

Because for some people it’s a lot easier to blame the DNC than it is to blame the candidate of their choice or voters

So.... Maybe just maybe it’s not the DNC but the electorate including the actual base of the Democratic Party that's rejecting the Sanders wing of progressivism.

Eh Sanders has very similar levels of name recognition and is basically ceiling’d at 15%, at this point we all need to admit that Biden does at the very least have an appeal to the sections of the Democratic electorate that aren’t online all day.

Bernie: “Family takes advantage of his position for profit”

Oh cool, Splinter’s starting its “repeat Trump’s arguments but snarkily” cycle early this year, that shifts the "Voting, why even bother" article to what June of 2020?

The difference is, unlike Jeb, Biden is still somehow dominating the field nationally and leading in all states- his lead today is as big as it was prior to any of the debates.
