dude - i WISH i was one of my brother's groomsmen. I had to sit with people I didn't know at all because i was on the "bride's side". I seriously had to go to the opposite side of the banquet hall just to hang with anyone i knew. OH and i wasn't given a +1 so it was even more awkward.
that episode was nuts! to be fair, that guy knew he was crazy and owned it.
thats the one episode that sticks in my mind too! there was that girl who would see the sun and sneeze and thats how she stayed awake until the trees hid the sun...
thank you. sometimes its nice for someone to just validate your feelings (I'm not sure if that was coherent - its about 2am where I'm at). I'm so sorry you went through whatever you did and I'm glad that you got help! I'm going to take cookie monstress's advice and check out my university's counselling services…
thanks - i've actually been battling pretty bad depression since I was around 11 or 12 years old. I know that sounds too early to recognize the signs, but if you ever read my diary from then you'd see how clear it was. Since I got here (grad school) I've considered trying out the counseling center and I think once…
Do any of you pretend to be much stronger than you are?
I just walked to school this morning and OMG i'm in SO much pain. I work on the 2nd floor and climbing the one flight was torture. I still feel awesome mentally though! I'm about to eat a banana to try and replenish some of the nutrients I lost. I'll do the legs on the wall thing later. thats an awesome…
I ran my first half-marathon today and essentially met my goal time (i ran 3 min longer than my goal). I feel so accomplished mentally, but my legs feel awful!! ya'll have any tips/tricks for a speedy recovery?
me too - I think she's a lot smarter than she lets on.
thanks!! actually i signed up for the 1/2 and then started running... i guess that might be a little ambitious. I'm going looking to make the bestest time (at least I've come to understand that) but I want to have fun and do my best =)
thanks!! you're awesome.
I read your comment about still running in your 40s and was like, " man that lady ROCKS".
I'm just starting to run and am running my first 1/2 marathon in a few weeks. I hope that one day I can count myself among the baddass punk rock running women.
awww! good luck with everything! i remember being a student and nervous and what got me through all the classes was having good study habits. Always read before class (if possible) so that when you're in class, its the second time you're hearing about what's being taught. then I would go over my notes maybe the…
I'm a physical chemist and I use it all the time. I tend to think of calc as a game and it makes it a bit more fun. how about try relating your ee class to real-life situations and that might make it a lil bit more interesting?
suspenders?
I think I cry every episode. I love it!
I had a similar experience to @SunEyedGirl I actually got 2 pairs for around 30 and love them both. One pair is a little big because I didn't take my correct measurements, but I love them anyway. Its really fun because you can upload a pic of yourself to virtually try on the frames! have fun!
wait a second. He was asking you such personal questions 1) on a first date and 2) while he was getting head?? that really seems so strange to me, especially after you both seemed to be getting along/off so well. definitely WTF
