@BlueVamp: oops - that was me stepping forward.
@Soy-Bean:
@bananastand: I'm thinking I'll come to the next one - I just started commenting (I've been reading for about a year now), so I feel awkward about showing up.
BlueVamp: I just scrolled down - don't worry - you can come next year! Or we can have a Jezzie picnic in the park...
@Jessi Ramsey: too much work?
Will Mexico City become the new hot-spot for retirees?
I'm happy that modern science can help transgendered people feel more comfortable in their own skin.
@chancentrate: I think its more about the sentimental connection to the coat - I wouldnt randomly buy a fur coat, but if my grandmother left me hers, then I would treasure that because it was one of her treasures. It's not that it's new vs. old - its heirloom vs. something to flaunt wealth.
@JerseyGrrrl: I'd never buy new fur - that would just be cruel. And, as I said, I'd only wear it for a fancy schmancy occasion; It is a little creepy, but if it makes you happy, why not wear it - esp when it is SO old.
The thing about some fur coats is that they're family heirlooms. If my grandmother leaves me her mink in her will, I will sure as hell rock that thing (to an appropriate event, like the Opera) to honor her memory.
@LitiGrrl30: thats why I clicked on the link...
I read the description as marilyn manson-style Happy Birthday and was very confused.
@gold_gato: i think its happening again...
@Archetype: then where is the giant box of mac 'n cheese?
totally bite-able
this makes me want to rock black tights and black mocks - but if I cant get more than a season out of a pair of shoes - I don't buy them. arrrrrgh.
I worry for Amy. She is SO talented - if Brit Brit can get her life together, can't Amy do the same?
@Iterum.Differo: I think my mom rocked that 'do all throughout the 80s. She's a redhead so it looked AWESOME.
@supergeorgina: I didn't know either, but I rarely emphasize my bosom in my clothes. My friends actually commented on this and I replied that I don't feel the need to accentuate my bosom b/c I'd like men to be attracted to my mind first and my body would just be a bonus rather than the other way around.
