@Iterum.Differo: I think my mom rocked that 'do all throughout the 80s. She's a redhead so it looked AWESOME.

@supergeorgina: I didn't know either, but I rarely emphasize my bosom in my clothes. My friends actually commented on this and I replied that I don't feel the need to accentuate my bosom b/c I'd like men to be attracted to my mind first and my body would just be a bonus rather than the other way around.

I met Albert Maysles at Tribeca Film Festival last year. He said that Grey Gardens is pretty much his favorite movie, which is significant considering his body of work and that there's a blockbuster remake in the works that should be coming out in the next couple of years.

I don't watch this show, but I'd like to think I'd have the same attitude if I were on a reality TV show. On the other hand - I wouldn't do it because of how editing can make you seem. Case-in-point the interview with Sheena where she said that Tyra chose her knowing what she (Tyra) would nitpick.

Maybe she's thinking of Devandra? (how's his name spelled?)

Sheena is so baddass - I love her comment about Elina - who would have thought they were actually friends!

@bluebears: bluevamp agrees with bluebears

@Archetype: I preferred to think of it as a peace pipe

@BlueVamp: BTW, my final paper was totally jezzerific - it compared the state of women pre and post reformation. I loved that paper...

I'd bite that

I took a class called "History of Early Modern Europe" that was about witch hunts and demon posessions. Pretty much anyone who was "other" was categorized as a witch and cast out of the village. This was more prevalent among peasants (who were the majority of the population anyway). For example, homosexuals, Jews, and

@starfishtat: seriously? I think hippos are now my heroes

I want one in my imaginary zoo. SO cute.

@sarahmazing: @captainolimar: It's also on [nbc.com] and I totally just watched it covertly at work. well. Maybe not so covertly as I was giggling to myself uncontrollably at times. Also - I saw a clip of Oprah last night and she was SO excited to have been on the show. I love Oprah!!!!!!

I'd bite that too.

This clip reminded me of the world of Farenheit 451 - so sterile, and full of machines...

@hannapdx: I saw the perfect boots at DSW and figured that they'd be reasonable. Alas, they were $400 Cole Haans. Thank goodness they didnt have my size or recessionista I would not have been.

I want those boots
