I'm so proud of my fellow jezzies braving the lines and voting. I just spoke to a teacher who said that she hadn't seen a turnout like this since Nixon/Kennedy. She said it is probably because there's finally another generation of young people who give a damn.

At my last job, I was told to pick a woman in the office and emulate her style when choosing what clothing was work-appropriate. "Why can't I have a style of my own?" I questioned until I realized I was working for a bank - and having any kind of personal style was truly optional.

This was the first Simpsons I've watched in years - and I'm sure glad I did. I even recorded it and made my roommates watch it later last night and we had the time b/c no more Mad Men :(

@BlueLilly: one of my eyes is naturally larger than the other (meaning it always looks like I'm half squinting - esp when intoxicated) - I wonder if Brit Brit has the same thing?
