Cause you know, swearing is bad, M'kay.

I like what you said and generally agree. Perhaps I misinterpretted what you were saying. I read it as basically "If you practice a religion you are not capable of knowing the truth" Which is crazy considering there are a lot of religions out there, some of which practice exactly what you just said people should be

I tend to agree. Especially considering the original audience of those ancient texts(we had about the same understanding of science as the animals we ate) I believe that if it's up there (I personally think there is a God) that they are kind being and would like all of us in heaven(or whatever it is).

How so?

*brainsplode*

yeah, not sure I get what redbrick is going for. I remember being spanked twice. Once for running away in the mall when I was maybe 4(scared the shit out of my mother, I got spanked when we got home) and again when I lied to my father's face about washing my hands. he even gave me the chance to back out but I didn't,

But if they're right, they die and live in paradise for eternity. That's a pretty big carrot.

So what you just said is that if you practice a religion you don't know the truth?

A first person shooter covered in magical unicorn jizz that made it perfect in every conceivable way?

While I agree with your idea of societal responsibility the concept really doesn't work unless you add the one huge part you've forgotten to add.

It was the Mayans who called it. I think Jesus is sitting this one out.

I dunno... I'm rather fond of women... I was even raised by one, startling I know. ;)

I was not aware that ROTC detachments kept functional weapons and ammunition on site. My detachment didn't...

Exactly, above all else they are humans. They are individuals who react differently to the same situation, regardless of whether they're packing the same bits. The problem is society is trying to dictate the way manliness is defined and it's not a healthy definition.

Least the baby didn't get grabbed by a golden eagle...

It is not an automatic weapon. An automatic weapon by definition fires until the trigger is released or you run out of bullets. 1 trigger pull = lots of bullets. A semi-automatic weapon by definition is 1 trigger pull = 1 bullet. A semi-automatic rifle in an unaltered form will never be able to become an automatic

If you have the time for paperwork, the money, and a nice sheriff. Maybe... more than likely, no.

Depending on how the internals of the gun were designed they are substantially different. The mods are possible for most semi-automatic rifles but typically require an experienced gunsmith to achieve with breaking the rifle and making it inoperable. For reference there are several episodes of "sons of guns" where they

I think the problem arises in that people are mistakenly saying A and B are the same when in fact they are different. Not only are they different but A is a highly regulated item that is not allowed to be manufactured and sold to civilians, while B is. That alone makes them strikingly different.

You hit surprisingly close to the mark considering you didn't read it. I wonder what that tells us about Kotaku? lol
