I tend to agree. Especially considering the original audience of those ancient texts(we had about the same understanding of science as the animals we ate) I believe that if it's up there (I personally think there is a God) that they are kind being and would like all of us in heaven(or whatever it is).

I think the problem arises in that people are mistakenly saying A and B are the same when in fact they are different. Not only are they different but A is a highly regulated item that is not allowed to be manufactured and sold to civilians, while B is. That alone makes them strikingly different.
