I saw that... it’s a good step in the right direction, however:
1) If you are the one who doesn’t own the maps, any XP you earn doesn’t count until you buy the maps.
2) You have to be friends with someone who owns the maps, and everyone I know that owns BF1 quit before the maps came out.

Is no one reading my entire comment? Other developers of AAA games make it happen, so can Battlefield. All I hear are excuses being made on behalf of the publisher, trying to justify screwing the players through sucking as much money out of them as possible and giving them a terrible experience via a fractured player…

So I can pay for DLC now, then when the next DLC comes out I can pay for that too? Instead of a slightly cheaper season pass, or no cost at all? I’d love to experience this first hand, but they decided to fracture their player base by charging a premium on top of the normal game for a season pass. Titanfall 2 and Rainbow 6 Siege have free DLC, so they get my money via cosmetic items to help support their great work.
