Sure, but keep the blame unmixed. Blame him for his rhetoric and blame them individually for their actions and abhorrent speech. Don’t reduce their agency or accountability by linking the two.

Perhaps, but if you believe that stereotyping and generalizing those 80,000 people and treating them as sub-human is a productive way forward, go for it. But don’t act surprised when they ignore facts and rational argument to do it right back to you.

Not sure if either you or I am not understanding each other. I’m simply reacting to the “45's America!” based on one horrible comment on TigerNet. I’m not blind to the vitrol being commonly hurled around, but we’re not helping ourselves whenever we bundle large groups of individuals together and make sweeping

Could we not draw sweeping conclusions based off the abhorrent behavior of a single individual? I get it—but that’s why we are where we are. That’s why I see libtard and trumptard memes 24x7. The person that posted that statement has agency and owns what they did. They were a terrible human before Trump was

Hide your kids, hide your penis...

Apologies, had I known you were a child, incapable of rational and respectful discussion, I wouldn’t have wasted your time.

Yes, I did. Did you? Look, I get that these articles don’t represent your view of Obama’s administration. They didn’t meet my hopes either. It is possible to support someone (I voted for him twice) and still criticize him and acknowledge their faults. His record versus his campaign claims regarding lobbying,

Sure! Some of those are admittedly poor sources, but the data is there.

“Ethical guidelines exist for a reason. Norms exist for a reason.”

What are you most looking forward to seeing under your Christmas tree? (assuming you are in to that sort of thing)

Good suggestion—I hadn’t seen that before, thanks!

Agree but a qualified agree on #1. You’re certainly not going to match the image above with just the decals, so regardless you will need paint and painting skilz. That said, I’ve had pretty good success melding both—sometimes no amount of tamiya tape will get those lines as clean and the color as uniform as a decal.

My highschool lot was like...

Counterpoint: That should have been a you’re an idiot.

They don’t have to be that way. Ziploc double-zip freezer bags seem to work pretty well and handle the heat. But your point stands—it certainly isn’t my favorite way to cook eggs on a campout. It’s mostly for when you need to cook for 5+ people.

Been doing this for a while for scout campouts. A few things to note:

I think part of the point is that it is very likely a fraction of a percent of people can take advantage of this rule.

The IRS computer systems and masterfiles run on batch schedules (for many years weekly, now daily). I don’t know if this is specifically the reason, but I suspect that the information behind the online portal is updated daily via that process and it may display incorrect information if accessed during those off hours.

HamNo, I’m wondering why you haven’t addressed the power side of this equation (or you have and I just haven’t seen it) beyond your perspective on unions. To me, the solution isn’t about wealth redistribution (at least not all about), it is about power redistribution. Unions would be one example, but much of what

I think one of the problems is the phrase “redistributing wealth”. I’m not arguing that wouldn’t be a potential part of the solution, but much of what causes wealth to accumulate and the rich-poor gap to continue to widen is the ability to extract rents. This ability results from *power*, not taxable wealth.
