Knowing western developers they're going to want to make Final Fantasy into a third person character action game...WITH GUNS!

I can see why they have the initial 2 versions at launch. But the third version that always comes out a few years later always has all the content of the the older versions and more! Maybe that is the content that could just be added on instead of having to get a whole new game?

Patches...for Pokemon games....how far we've come

Maybe in the future there wont be a third version of a Pokemon game but rather a patch or dlc that adds more to the story like Emerald and Platinum.
