I think being a mostly CGI film and coming out a year after Avatar set expectations too high. CGI Young Jeff Bridges didn’t look great compared to everything else. I also think it’s a case of the intro to the digital world getting you hype as fuck, and the second half of the movie not being able to live up to that…

I feel like with Jared Leto, Maleficent 2 director and no Daft Punk, this movie has an uphill battle. If anything it might make people realize that Tron: Legacy is actually an underrated movie.

The middle eastern races pay big money to get the first and last spots on the calendar, because it’s a way to force fans to pay attention to their mostly bad races held in icky countries that people would prefer to pretend don’t exist. I doubt Monaco would do the same.

IMO the current gen looks better than this. This looks like a bigger Maverick, and the Maverick looks like an appliance. That’s fine for the Maverick, but not for a $34k truck.

Discord has a bit of a scamming problem with people easily impersonating big accounts, but I’m not sure this actually fixes it? This seems like they are going the twitter route, which also has a massive scamming problem.
