Agree with all of this. I remember after being told I was this special super-powered person who could turn the tide of the war, I immediately had to fight some mook who also had powers and was stronger than me. I was also upgrading my guns from “Rusty, shitty, broken SMG” to “Rusty, shitty SMG” and I thought am I

I never liked the look of the Sky, but for some reason thought the Solstice looked awesome.

To be fair, step one of the MCU process was starting up a brand new independent studio that only made comic book movies. I think that was an important step because they knew there was no way an existing Hollywood studio would be able to get it right. What Marvel got right was the balance of realism and comic book

It wouldn’t be a non-story because people will assume the accuser was pressured into retracting her story, even if she says that’s not the case. Just look at the rest of this comment section.

Probably doesn’t make strategic sense to spin off or sell the IPs because it A) it means they give up quality control and B) it opens up the slim possibility that Epic or someone else find a way to buy the company that has the IPs.

Every sketch. She broke in every sketch. And she was especially bad about the card reading.

I’m convinced McKinnon has some kind of deal where she can just continue doing the same impressions & bits as a means of keeping her on the show.

It would be a minefield trying to make that game and not have it banned in China. And I imagine they would want to sell it in China.

We played this in college with beer. Loser had to chug the cup.

But he wore a dress to an awards show once!  Doesn’t that make him one of the good guys forever?

I agree with the comment that inspections are there to punish low income drivers. I live in a no-inspection state right now, but all my bougie coworkers whine about how in their home state the car inspections would get all the ‘trashy’ cars off the road and then maybe traffic would improve.

Sounds like he wasn’t the brightest bulb in the license plate frame...

Yeah if you can stomach the credit hit, no reason to not just take the dealer financing and pay it off as soon as you get your first bill. The salesman doesn’t give a damn what you do with the loan once the deal is closed. They generally don’t have early pay off fees (though I wouldn’t be surprised if that was around

From what I understand, there is a lot of filtering involved to get any hint of color out of a fermented hard seltzer. So I’m guessing they might just skip that step for this “beer” since a slight yellow color won’t gross anyone out.

I want to say the hard sodas of years past were soda with hard liquor added, where these are fermented beverages with flavor concentrate added. The old hard sodas would have a lot more sugar / artificial sweetener.

I wonder how this will effect price-matching sales and stuff like that. Like normally when one of the big storefronts puts a game on a good discount, you’ll see others do the same to not lose sales. These rules would appear to prevent that.

I was excited for sprints last season, but now I feel all they do is give the front runners an extra chance to ensure they start in the front. Any discrepancy between qualifying pace vs race pace is erased during the sprint rather than the GP, so that’s less drama on Sunday.
