I had no idea that David Dobrik was a social media influencer. In fact, I had never heard of him before Dodgeball Thunderdome debuted on Discovery Channel a couple months ago.

I’m finally starting to come around to the game.

I remember the first time I Googled logical fallacies too.

If that’s the case, then yes, I would certainly say hold off on buying it. I’d bet it hits a pretty decent discount around the holiday season. And by then, there should be some DLC and a few more patches that help the replay value even more.

I’d argue that Avengers doesn’t quite fit that mold, since the microtransactions are entirely passable. There’s, to my knowledge, nothing in the game that you can’t earn by playing rather than paying. And even then, the stuff you can buy is all non-essential (skins, emotes, etc). It’s a pretty good game in most respects, but at this point, I’d argue that it so far hasn’t been worth $60.

Around me, the only places that ever have poutine seem desperate to put their high-end spin on it, thereby making it immensely subpar to the real thing.

Since I just finished the 2nd DLC for Control yesterday (which was as fantastic as the rest of the game, by the way), I really don’t know what I’ll be playing this weekend. Maybe I’ll go back and replay Alan Wake. It’s been a few years, and my memories of it are a little fuzzy.

I’m guessing it’s actually significantly more than 25% of employees.

If the total cost of conversion is $30,000 or more, will we still not have an excuse? Because not wanting to sink myself that much further into debt sounds like a pretty reasonable excuse.

Oddly enough though, in a film about that very thing, the inversion doesn’t happen as often as you’d expect or like. It becomes more and more prevalent as the characters learn more about it, leading to a finale that’s fully told in both directions, but somehow by that point, it’s underwhelming. To me, this is akin to telling people that they shouldn’t even bother getting into PC gaming unless they sink $3,000+ into a top-of-the-line rig. You don’t need the best of everything to enjoy gaming, and to imply that you should is a disservice.

Hopefully it fixes some of the annoying bugs I’ve encountered. I’ve had to reboot the game at least a dozen times already, and I’m only about 5 hours in, altogether. Hell, it’s the only game that has ever caused my XB1 to overheat and shut down. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game at one point, to no avail.

I half-assumed the article would somehow at least be tangentially about the website redesign that’s been forced upon us (and upon you all as well, I’m guessing).
