I’ll take mine in Charleston Pollen Yellow Metallic.

Ah yes, anecdotal evidence. The surefire way to prove anything. Because this supposedly happened to you once, it’s a universal truth regardless of climates and weather conditions anywhere else in the world.

No ice either, huh?

Something about this post screams, “I’m still waiting to get my driver’s license.”

Very neat, but not worth the price to me. Not old enough for nostalgia points, and it’s still a behemoth, even with that 383 under the hood.

Quite the opposite, actually. Germany’s power infrastructure is both incredibly efficient and significantly less damaging to the environment than ours.

I’m in, but only if they are certified-organic, free-range, fair-trade, raw leeches.

It sounds more to me like a $50 vodka in a $1.3 million bottle.

If I was in that Elantra that the guy was able to leap his SUV over, I wouldn’t even be mad. Just impressed.

It seems weird that they made a car with a very sleek hood/windshield/roofline, then named it after a lizard with a pronounced series of spiky points running down its neck and back.

That lede photo looks like it was taken at the ugliest, most flopsweat-filled high school ever.

Makes sense. I’ve usually just experienced that sort of behavior in bars rather than restaurants. But like I’ve said elsewhere, I’m not going to have my feelings hurt if the staff doesn’t know who I am. I’m still going to enjoy my meal, tip just as well, and still recommend it to friends.

Yeah, I suppose there will always be a variety based on different circumstances. There’s a local Vietnamese shop that knows me and recognizes me. It’s probably because I usually order the same thing and that I’m the only 6'3" white guy with a beard that is in there regularly.

Alternatively, the pizza can be used as a seat warmer if it’s from Little Caesar’s.

My girl’s car has them. To be honest, I only ever use them when we take it up to Tahoe in the winter. The rest of the time, I feel like they just give me swamp-ass.

Okay, I’m all set.

Great minds think alike. :)

The price on AW11 MR2s has gone up steeply over the last 5 years. I could definitely see someone buying this, getting it running well, and selling it at a profit (or keeping it and enjoying the short wheelbase MR wackiness).

In my experience, it seems more common to find them in smaller grocery stores in urban areas. My best guess is that cities have a higher concentration of people that live by themselves (and possibly have smaller refrigerators), and thus don’t necessarily need/want a dozen or more eggs at once.

Getting the same thing doesn’t sound weird to me at all. I try to mix it up and try new things from time to time, but there are a couple places I go to (one regularly) where I always order the same thing. But you’re right, it can certainly depend on the place. a breakfast diner is the perfect example.
