Absolutely. As a consumer, I get to retain control of the physical product I purchased. I can rest knowing that in 20 years, I can still dig out my games and my XBox One and still play it without any restriction. I don't want a digital download whose license can expire our can go away simply at the whim of a company.

*laughs to myself at the mention of origin*

New models that get reskinned 5 times, yes! We live in glorious times.

or alternately she is a co-worker, she said, off frame, "we are eating at quiznos today" he said "what" she yells "quiznos" at him, he turns around to hear her, and goes on his way looking forward to a chicken carbonera. meanwhile on the internet a bunch of people are now insulting him. we should be proud of

Okay, so it's not the fact that he looked, but because he didn't hide it from... no-one, yes?
Also, I'm pretty fucking sure people wouldn't call him a creep if he was a Brad Pitt.

How to not be a creep:
1. Be attractive
2. Don't be unattractive

Yeah what Jim said, it's a business alright. You know what businesses are very good at doing? Failing. And if companies fail because they needed a console that inconvenienced consumers and imposed restrictions on other markets, well ... that's business for you.

I'd imagine getting destroyed in Amazon preorders doesn't hurt in getting the message across, either.

I think it should be his new catchphrase.

Nothing is lost. The potential of the 300k server cloud, and cloud computing for next-gen games is not lost. Look, if I want to play an MMO on my PC, I have to connect to the internet and servers. But if I want to play Skyrim or any other single-player RPG, I don't have to do anything. There is no great benefit from

Innovation? This did nothing but innovate more ways for Publishers to pad their pockets at the expense of Developers and Gamers and totally infringe on consumer rights.

Only a real sucker would pay for "innovation" with their consumer rights.

Innovation is not inherently positive. When your only innovations are in the service of stripping away consumer rights from the people who buy your products, and screwing over the developers that make your products, then you can shove your innovation right up your ass.

Innovation merely for the sake of innovation is worthless. I'd rather have a good refined version of something that already exists rather than a shitty "innovative" version 10 tines out of 10. Change should only be accepted if it's GOOD change, ever heard of if it ain't broke don't fix it?

You got a little derp on yourself.

So limit the feature to digital games. There are alternatives. Not ones that are as awesome as the original plans maybe but Microsoft could adapt and change instead of having a hissy fit.

Why? Why shouldn't they keep cloud gaming for people who can support a 24/7 Internet connection? Why shouldn't they keep family sharing and mobile gaming libraries for downloaded games? If they want to set themselves apart from Sony that's how you do it. Allow people to use your console as it is most practical for

Hooray for physical video game copies!

It's easy for you to say, what with you being the most powerful psyker in the history of mankind, being tens of thousands of years old, founding the Imperium of Man, creating 20 genetically superior primarchs, hundreds of thousands of their legions, then sitting on your failed webway project for the rest of eternity.

Don't you mean taking away Linux, half my USB ports, SACD playback (yes, I actually found some), memory card readers and last, but by no means least BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY :-(

i absolutely hate demotivationals, but I can't help but look at the dancing group at the beginning and think: "White People"
