No tall Americans?

Heightist. >_>

In regards to consumption, the US is the largest market in what we would consider "core" gaming. As for developer strength, I couldn't say, but a lot of companies end up outsourcing to the point where the lines are generally blurred, regardless.

Still one of my top 10's. Even with all of its downsides.

I actually loved this game. I also didn't hate Bulletwitch. I guess I'm more upset by games being broken, than bad.

Meh. "Online-only" racing game pretty much killed it for me, anyways. I couldn't care less about the frame rate at this point.

Like bloppolb mentioned, you're confusing development with publishing. Developers don't sell you the games, and the products you purchase should be treated as such. It's better for everyone if we blame WB for Arkham Origins, as opposed to blaming "WB Montreal."

The next big feature coming to PS4, though, seems to be backwards compatibility. That will arrive via the PlayStation Now streaming service, which is in beta now and will officially launch into open beta on PS4 on July 31.

Granted, Sony has promised that they'll be offering some sort of subscription program when the service actually launches, but at least for now, don't bother with the PS Now beta unless you've got a fat wallet.

Red Dead: Justified?

Here's an uncomfortable topic: Why did they promise me heists and give me capture the flag? The beta was about the most disappointing thing I've experienced in gaming in quite some time. If other people are happy playing Battlefield 3: Cop Edition, that's fine. I, however, want a game with some legitimate heists. The

That's not definitively true. Hence, the reasoning behind differing law applications to physical copies, and one of the reasons publishers would like to transition to entirely digital formats (although a lesser reason, of course, than distribution control).

My Class 10 cards have been reasonably fine for other platforms, but you're probably right. It's likely to take a hell of a lot of pre-loading for any card to feed 4GB's of primary memory. Then again, there are probably plenty of bottlenecks in handhelds as it is.

Yeah. I finally got caught up to the release schedule. The arm thing really kinda bugged me, though. >_>

Someone at Nintendo has their thinking cap on.

"Hey, what can we do with this buttload of cash we're sitting on to improve the WiiU's standing in the market?"
"Let's help publish some struggling games from seasoned developers!"

Is it really so complex a thing? Instead, we get the next year and a half on PS4/XBO with 2-3

It's not "barely last generation." While it's been relatively misunderstood to this point, even in terms of pure processing power and stereotypical measurements it's easily more powerful than the 360/PS3. Draw requirements, data throughput, primary memory. Pretty much everything has more "potential" than the 360 or

Did you forget that new Hunter x Hunter Gon figurine? Doubt it!

Did anyone notice that you can't create a "white" character in the alpha? Racism!

Seriously, though, the alpha test has sold me on the game. It's a lot of fun, and much more expansive than I'd expected.

QUOTE | "In my educated opinion, I would estimate this to be a day or two's work. Not a replacement of 8,000 animations." - Game animator Jonathan Cooper, commenting on Ubisoft's explanation that “It was a question of focus and a question of production” to not include a female character option in Assassin's Creed

Have you never been into a retail boutique? The next time you're in the mall, pop into Express and tell me the men's section is equally represented. The only time it's even close to balanced is in teen groups (the AF's, AE's, and Hollisters—but even then not "equal"), or during male-focused holidays. The reasoning for
