Unfortunately, by shaming the character they're also indirectly shaming the people who like the character. Listening to people practicing arm-chair politics and denouncing characters based solely on the character's appearance gets really tiring after a while.

Xbox One's Dashboard looks too much like Windows 8. That part right there was the turn off for me. PlayStation 4 is looking mighty fine over there.

Imo, it's still cluttered and ugly as hell. It is a stepup from the current dashboard but that was boned so many times over the years by MS there was nothing left they couldn't do. You want to see a clean UI with everything you could ever want and need right there with no bullshit? Look at Steam Big Picture Mode. Now…
