I was rooting for the field to swallow both teams whole. THAT would have been the best outcome.

The point is, after 74 minutes and 53 seconds of terrible football, and as a result of numerous plays that never should’ve happened in a professional league, Larry Fitzgerald caught a meaningless 15-yard pass to just barely win me my fantasy game.

That nobody won doesn’t matter.

Fun post-game stat: there have been three 6-6 ties in the past 50 years of NFL football, and the Cardinals have been involved in all of them.

This was, without hyperbole, the dumbest game I have ever seen. I feel lessened for having witnessed any part of it. This has brought shame upon their families. I hope no one is killed in the flash floods of vomit that do doubt are sweeping major cities nationwide.

That was the best possible ending. After the worst possible game.
