Yeh I came in here to mention those spark plugs. It’s normally a pain, but I’m pretty sure you have to unbolt an engine mount and raise the engine slightly just to get access for those plugs.

No the bank repos bring at least 95% of their Retention value. Which is what the loan was for plus all fees involved. We avg between 95-105% of retention value depending on customer (lien holder)
I work at a dealer only auction that receives bank repos and we have a very high retention rate. I believe over 95%, so “pennies on the dollar” is way far fetched. Dealers have enough experience to check out the car and bid accordingly.
