@MrGOH: It's partially a justification - there are lots of good reasons why I shouldn't have something to play computer games on for the next six months or so.

Luckily, animated cartoons have been preparing us for this moment, so there's no need to panic.

...works, must wait to purchase until gaming computer works, must wait to purchase until gaming computer works, must wait to purchase until gaming computer works, must wait to purchase until gaming computer works, must wait...

@mrClint: I don't feel the same, but I know the feeling. I actually often will replay an older version of the game before the new one comes out, just to preemptively get that out of my system.

@Sam fisher's a aimbot: I don't like the term "blatantly untrue." I've also heard it principally from Europeans rather than Americans, or with Americans quoting Europeans.

Elian Gonzalez...wow...way to dig in the meme bucket!

For the Blues Brother's 25th anniversary, (since I'm both from Chicago, often wear a black hat, and look like Belushi), I grew out the Mutton Chops in a sort of tribute.

A random video game event takes place a block away from one of my jogging routes...and yet, it's for a game I really don't have any interest in, in a genre I don't have any interest in.

@spookyxelectric: Actually, I'm strangely disappointed. Left to right:

@srx5171: You're right: there's no question that the Tea Party represents a totally different set of "policies of hate rather than love."It's a wholly new cocktail of paranoia, xenophobia, and reactionism bred by a totally new sort of uncertanty, and in no way does satire of an antiquated ideal comment upon it.

Whatever came of the results of that contest?

K9 is back!

@GeneralBattuta: While I generally agree with your main point, the classier thing to do would have been to ask gamers to donate to _____ charity in his name.

Oh, do I ever want one of those posters.

I'm kind of bothered by the violence against women vibe of the opening segment.

@HitmonInfinity: Pretty much the only ones who do midnight launches around me are Gamestops, unless I drive out to the suburbs.

@madammina: Psychonauts is the obvious choice, along with every other critical darling that's a commercial failure.

@Ubik! the Rat Parade: I don't know if it's imprecision per se as much as the difficulty level ratchets up from "trivial" to "murderous" suddenly and without warning, which is somewhat frustrating.

@Weezle41: The beginning is slow, no doubt about it. I'm not sure how far exactly you are along, but I do think it picks up.
