I don't get the advantage of taking them from one container just to put them into another. At least with the bag & twist-tie, you can press out much of the air.

So pleased that one of the suggestions is NOT to set your clock ahead. All that does is piss everyone else off who has to look at that clock!
If you have time, freeze a softer cheese until it starts to harden a bit. You'll get less sticking, more defined shreds and won't need to spray the grater.
Find a self-cleaning oven and put your cast-iron inside it while you run the clean cycle. It will come out good as new. Then hide it from your roommates.
I have an idea. Why not enjoy it as a free app for as long as you can. It's FREE! If it's a good program and you like it, it's only right that you pay for it to continue using it, eh?
Well, you DID say you had a garage. If it only has cars in it, why not park them out the afternoon before and set up in the garage instead of the driveway? If you've got too much stuff to fit and MUST use the driveway too, see if you can prop up a cinderblock with a brick to put under the lower legs of any tables…
You can also go to a jewelry store and pick up tiny little zip-locking bags for almost nothing. You would be surprised what they come in handy for: small amounts of medicine, small parts from a take-apart project, baby teeth - the list goes on and on.
I had to call a locksmith one time, and he basically used this same method. Seems the structure can endure this without damaging the car one bit - I'm sure there are exceptions, however.
"If you don't have mouthwash, vodka is a decent substitute."
"Maybe it's a little cruel to make someone else stand when there's technically a seat empty..."
Are you listening, Mr. President?
I'll drink to that!
This works best in some situations - say if you're a contractor, for example. Once upon a time, I was given a much higher salary than my colleague who was brought on at the same time with similar credentials. He thought he knew what was an acceptable going rate was for the type of work we were doing, but his knowledge…
Ummm, no. One does not get to fully test out the product and its features in the store - and certainly not online. For electronics, buttons may be touchy or ill-placed or displays can be too bright nonadjustable. Clothing that seems okay when you try it on may not be when you realize the shirts are too short to tuck…
I'm not lazy, but I always check my luggage. Why? Because people bring too many carry-on pieces, often times too large to fit in the overhead bins and they REFUSE to place them under the seat in front of them, therefore all the common spaces fill up. I'm tired of having to wait until everyone else gets off the plane…
Oh, yes it does. Especially if you use that very same straw to slurp out that golden deliciousness with every mouthful of corn.
Oh, it will come up. Make sure you're prepared and you'll do just fine!
