I wish they offered the Opel looking version here in the US sans plastic cladding and SUV look.

People do buy vehicles based on looks.  The F-150 and Ram look very nice.  The Silverado looks horrible.

My wife always uses half the butter that recipes recommend. I resent her deeply for this and make up for it by doubling the butter when I cook for her.

So lemme get this straight: 85% lean chuck (with ground brisket? what?) mixed with frozen, shaved butter.

I have a 2 year old and a 3 month old and I love getting up with the 3 month old on weekends when he wakes around 7-730. Some quality daddy and baby time then he goes back to sleep 45 minutes later and I make coffee and sit on the deck and chill in the fresh morning air until the 2 year old wakes up (sometime after 9)

This info applies to many “adults” on the interwebs also.

I’d say take that $3500 and put it in a high yield savings account. That will cover 99% of repairs. Even if he drives exactly 10k miles per year, that’s still $145/mo to ease his mind. This also won’t cover wear items like, you know, almost everything. Brakes/tires/suspension/motor mounts/etc.

The problems never happen in places that are used to having high heat, like Texas. They happen in places like Minnesota which aren’t used to lots of 100 degree plus weather. Five days over 100 in Minneapolis is deadly heat wave, whereas five days over 100 in Dallas is an average week in summer (roughly speaking).

On the bright side, when you buy a Buick you instantly become 80 years old, so now this guy can qualify for Medicare and all sorts of discounts on white shoes and salad bars. Pretty shrewd financial maneuvering if you ask me.

I hate this look so much. It seems that the world has basically decided that because Tesla did it, it’s really cool. Well, it’s not. It just looks lazy and dumb.

I was really hoping you were just going to open a bag of pre-peeled garlic.

I use any excuse to show off my 1992. When will these be a future classic? ;-) It’s funny to think that you could buy about 25 of these for the price of a brand new one...

You left your iPad on the...
