But seriously, Samsung appliances are terrible. Unless you have a crush on your appliance repair person, do not buy Samsung appliances.
The owner seems to be stranded in some sort of forest. I hope rescue is on the way!
The truck wars are almost reminding me of smartphones in a way. We’re kind of at the point where manufacturers have started to run out of meaningful things to develop for their trucks so they’re just making them bigger and adding on more shit nobody really needs or uses, all while jacking the price up.
The truck in the picture appears to be on some kind of unpaved section of soil. Why would you ever drive off of pavement?
They are just tall, their ground clearance ins’t much more than cuv/ tall wagons.
HEY FOLKS SLICK JIM ON THE PARKWAY!
Definitely a hot take.
Not more than one week ago I would have lit you up for this take, but after more than one tweet from you on the subject (ahem), the idea festered in the back of my mind.
I am shocked at what 70s trucks are getting these days. Can he get $15k for this truck? Absolutely. But he is going to have to spend another $5k to get it there. If it is rot-free, I’d pay $10k for it, but would rather squeeze him down to $8k. CP, but nice truck.
15 years past being a classic? What does that even mean? It’s more classic? It’s too old to be a classic? It’s just barely a classic?
We did not accept the car, my wife balked at the idea. The dealer reordered the correct car with an additional $1K discount for our patience and continued business. Had to wait a total of 18 weeks between the initial order and correct car arrival.
Only an extra $1k taken off for the mistake of an incorrect transmission? What was your rationale for accepting the vehicle? No malice in my ask, I’m just generally curious why you took the time to custom order a vehicle and were willing to accept it with a feature mistake as glaring as this.
Has anyone noticed yet how the recent cold snap proves there is no global warming? SCIENCE.
We were able to knock $3.5K off a custom order BMW 228i. In fact it ended up being $4.5K after a dealer mistake meant our car showed up automatic instead of manual. Still a great experience, never hurts to ask for a discount!
HOTD (Hero of the day)
They found a way to sell two meals, for the price of two meals, to people who really only wanted one. :-)
I ordered an 2017 Accord Coupe with the V6 and 6 speed from the factory in December 2016 and was still able to get over $5K off MSRP. It can be done!
