Ah I misunderstood. Yes, if you bring a tuned ecoboost in for warranty service, they'll send you packing. I thought that was true of all OEMs?

The Ecoboost is very conservatively tuned from the factory and a simple ECU flash can unlock a lot of power. 50k mi on my SHO and nothing's broken yet. Ford changed their ECU's in '13 to try and lock out the tuners but it only took a couple months to crack it.
