BMW is being unreasonable in this case. This man clearly told BMW that the exact color was a big deal to him, and they did not paint the car the correct color. This is a salesman's nightmare and steps should have been taken to be sure that the special order was completed correctly.

LeftHook is correct. You can't just repaint the car. It will come off as a MACO-quality job. The door jambs won't be correct. The overspray on the inside of the door panels won't match, showing that the car's been repainted. The paint on the frame under the rear seat won't match. The engine bay won't match. The paint…
