BMW is being unreasonable in this case. This man clearly told BMW that the exact color was a big deal to him, and they did not paint the car the correct color. This is a salesman's nightmare and steps should have been taken to be sure that the special order was completed correctly.

LeftHook is correct. You can't just repaint the car. It will come off as a MACO-quality job. The door jambs won't be correct. The overspray on the inside of the door panels won't match, showing that the car's been repainted. The paint on the frame under the rear seat won't match. The engine bay won't match. The paint

Wow. The Gremlin is a rare car. However, it's not rare because of production quantity or age; It's rare simply because it's shit and most have been scrapped.

I agree. I have a 99 Dakota v6. Because no-one makes a mid-size truck anymore, I'm going to have to repaint mine and swap my bed for a flatbed to get the truck I want.

The USPS should look into using these to replace the no-longer-produced Grumman LLV (US Mail Truck - Canada Post has some, too).

The airline made a mistake and corrected it. That is good. The holders of the ticket are acting like children and demanding to be compensated for an honest mistake that they should have been able to catch. That is bad.

They were in the right to do so.

How about instead of wanting to get everything for the absolute cheapest price, you try to get everything for a fair price. Especially for people who do work on your house, it's much more important that they care about the work being done.

Just because he has money, he's supposed to give it away?

This is epic. I love a good prank.

But clearly, these are outside the context of the article. As long as it isn't a third-party warranty company, most dealerships won't have an issue honoring their own warranty. But remember, it goes both ways: save oil change receipts, and keep up with maintenance. Warranty doesn't mean you can run it dry of coolant,

If the dealer blatantly lies that's one thing. Still, don't ruing your credit rating and lose your car over it. By the time any legal action as happened to correct it, your car will be long gone.

I may get some flack for this, but a car isn't a lemon unless it's new. And even then, only if it has a string of issues.

How about a Ute?

Interesting. In my limited racing experience- just autocross -I've never had to "fight" with my car. I've worked with it, rotated it, pointed it, but never fought it.

Wow. This looks exhausting.

I agree.

Both Lexus and Acura are great cars. They are reliable, and economical. But they aren't made like German cars. They don't have the same build quality. Their interiors aren't as nice. While the drivetrain is top-notch, they don't put the same level of attention to the rest of the car as BMW and Audi do.

Make them more accessible to work on.

People will stop ending Genesis comments with "... but it's a Hyundai" when it's as good as it's competition.
