It was genuinely easier to get in and out of my wife’s Fit than the HRV we got as a dealer loaner.
In fact, the Fit was better in every way. Visibility, interior room, price, fuel economy, practicality.

Is there a problem with even one of the reasons she likes her car? We’d do well if more people bought cars that weren’t too big or too powerful.
This whole thing started because these people wanted to protest against mandates that don’t exist… does it really surprise you that they would piss themselves just to claim a grievance. They are looking for reasons to be the victims of this situation (which they created).
I’m going to hazard a guess that it might be related to the PCV systems all cars run. It burns off oil vapors created in a running engine. Dirty oil is full of water and unburned fuel too. It’s one reason short tripping is hard on cars. The oil never gets hot enough to burn off the contamination that all oil…
Any explanation how oil level affects emissions? This sounds incredible to me.
I think some of these “old/new” cars could be a dealer-used car that is just now being sold. I’ve seen cars being sold that the parts department used, or the dealers owner or spouse or kids drove for a year. It is never titled when the “dealer” uses it and comes with the factory warranty but sold at a used car price.
I have never in my several decades of living in Florida ever been in a 4+ hour wait at MCO. Even then, it would still beat having to deal with Tampa traffic and I4.
I’ve never driven in China, but my friend lived in Beijing for a few years and sent me a GoPro of him riding around on his moped. Absolute chaos compared to what I’m accustomed to here in the states. No regard for lanes, traffic lights, or right of way. Don’t know what traffic is like in Shenzen, but if it’s similar…
I don’t remember any cars crashing in Dune. There aren’t even any roads!
The Japanese title for Neon Genesis Evangelion is “Shin Seiki Evangelion”, so the word “Shin” has actually been part of the title since day one!
They’re playing a little fast & loose with the word “hero”, if they’re including the force of nature/cautionary tale about man’s hubris Godzilla, and Evangelion Unit 01, which is best classified as “it’s complicated”.
Jeff should have thought about that before making his big boaty boat.
Bro people are paying $120k for Integra Type-Rs. I suspect this will do fine.
I would like to know how you feel when you’re done and you close the door and give the keys back.
I wish it sold better and I wish I could afford one. I would have bought one. I am a Corvette fan as well and the C8 just looks bad compared to the NSX. The C8 is an awesome sports car but the looks are just off.
What? Don’t you know that the entire driving experience can be boiled down to peak horsepower and torque numbers, and nothing else matters beyond maximizing them for a given price?
Multiple times every day, I see an oncoming car cross the center line and, surprise surprise, the driver is looking down at their phone. I never let my guard down because too many people just don’t give a fuck how they’re driving.
Got my driver’s license at 15. I’ve lived in extremely rural areas, large metro areas, medium sized cities. I’ve personally driven cross-country at least 8 times. I’ve done well over 100 road trips of 1000 miles or more. Don’t know how many miles I’ve driven, but a rought estimate puts me between 500,000 - 750,000…
Is cruising slow in stop-and-go traffic to absorb the shockwaves a dick move now? That’s how I drive, as well as people in manual cars, and after about 10 minutes people will catch on and everything’s moving better
