iPhones would be a better argument. Modern Macs are pretty terrible these days and suffer greatly from form-over-function. Some say ThinkPads are the opposite, and maybe it’s true. My 2020 ThinkPad is much nicer to actually use than my 2020 MacBook Pro. And it cost half as much. Luckily my employer paid for the MBP.

Drag coefficient is only half of the equation. Frontal area is equally important, and that’s where large boxy vehicles tend to suck.  As tall as the CT is, it's likely to be much worse than the Volvo.

Have they showed anything beyond a render?

I was surprised the HR-V was 3" taller than the Fit, but has significantly less interior space. I think it’s due to the higher seating position.

I have Travelers and got hit while parked and that was what happened. Which sucked since I had a $1000 deductible on collision vs $100 on comprehensive. No wonder comp deductibles are so much cheaper.

This car is still called the Honda Legend in Japan.

They're both extremely long.

It occurred to me in visits there that driving there is a lot more collaborative than in the west. People generally yield to anyone else who might be doing something we would consider wrong. Also, they drive slower in general, that probably helps.

EPA highway ratings aren’t pure highway driving, they’re something like 55% highway + 45% stop and go last I saw. That’s why many cars can beat the highway estimate easily on all-highway driving.

And now another foreigner, another raider-albeit an economic pirate rather than jackbooted sort”

The right lane is usually the best place to be in most major city traffic anyway, as all of the idiots want to try to cram themselves into the already fullfast lane”, freeing up more space for the right lane to move.

Yes, the minority gets the press, but I think the majority drives worse than before. Not through malice, but through inattentiveness, laziness, and not caring if they inconvenience other drivers.

American market is redundant. Acura doesn’t have any other market except Canada, which isn’t much different.

When I was a kid in the south, we called it "the rebel flag".  I guess that was the old way of wallpapering over uncomfortable parts of history.

Interestingly despite being very different in style, I'm under the impression they use the same headlight motors as the 87+ Fiero and Firebird.  I guess they just turn farther to operate the mechanism.

I feel like Ming Na-Wen's job is to walk next to Fett and disagree with him, then be ignored.

With 900hp, I don't think it will be very slow.  Maybe off boost...

You were eaten by a grue.
