The trunk isn’t _that_ small, just oddly shaped so you can only put soft bags in it without wasting a lot of the space (and most non-soft bags are too thick anyway). I used to road trip all the time and none of my Fieros ever had a luggage rack. Don’t forget, there’s also a frunk...you can get quite a bit of stuff

I thought the third gen was ugly, and that the spy shots for the new one were even worse, but the actual car looks somewhat better than the third gen to me. Especially the version with the grille-less front. It’s surprisingly devoid of unnecessary non-functional scoops and vents for a modern Honda.  Hopefully that

Engineering excellence like cheating emissions tests, and a generally bad reputation for reliability?

Note that basic economy tickets typically don't let you pick seats until you check in, and by then choices are usually slim.

I am not sure the Eagle GTs were that crappy for all-seasons. The cheap no-name all-seasons on the first Fiero I bought used, now those were crappy. I spun the car twice just coming to a stop in the rain.

I used to think the new NSX was heavy at 3800+ lbs, but everything else has gained so much weight, it’s starting not to seem so bad in comparison. It has 3 electric motors, batteries, etc and only weighs 200lbs more than the base model C8. I bet if the rumored hybrid C8 ever comes out it will weigh more than the NSX.

Do you think they would buy Lambos from Chrysler?  Or Volkswagen?  (Or Porsches from Volkswagen, while we're at it).

Funny, Mother is my least favorite, and Snowpiercer one of my favorites (but nothing tops Memories of Murder, yet).  But I agree, he apparently has great taste in movies.

I agree with most of what you said, but you have a strange definition of what consisted of a dog in 1990. It wasn’t the fastest car you could buy, but it was no slouch and performed on par with other vehicles in it’s class.

Alfa 4C is more akin to an Elise, but a modern Cayman is close.

Which includes interaction with ABS, EPS if equipped, and TCS if not disabled.

Yep. I heard it idling at Laguna Seca last month. Sounded like every other small block.

And now you can get $25-30K off the base price by financing through Acura. I suspect that’s the real cause of most of the depreciation.  Nobody is actually paying list anymore.

The only options on the original NSX in 1991 were a choice of interior (2) and exterior (3) colors (both later expanded), and either a CD changer or a carphone. You could add maybe 5% to the base price, unlike the new one where you can add 50% to the base price.

I like to point out that the original NSX has several computers in it, which is sort of funny for something considered an analog hero. ECU, TCS, ABS, SRS, EPS (on some), security, automatic climate control...

The original CL Type S, but not the original Type S. The TL type S came out about the same time, and if you include Japan, the NSX Type S came out in 1997.

I did feel like Farouk’s change of heart was a little sudden. However, if you look back over S3, you could view Farouk as trying to protect David from Division 3, rather than just trying to cause chaos by subverting their attempts to capture/kill him.

Farouk got to keep his body. Charles killing him originally is what led to him hiding out in David’s mind.

Last week David's mother said nobody mattered. This week The Universe told her she mattered. Perhaps that signals the end of her cycle of depression?
