Competition is the mother of innovation, toten, and as a consumer it is in our interests to support competition between companies. As with improv, It is not wise to stick to a strict set of rules when designing - and I hope that Microsoft will be able to pull out something new and innovative instead of sticking to the

Fair point jdale, I actually agree with you. I wonder if I am feeling a little of that elitism. I would say though, that Nokia's UI isn't poorly design, it just hasn't moved with the times. After all, it has been leading in market share for a reason, their dumbphones are pretty much pick up and use.

The more I think about it, the more I'm impressed with Nokia's decision and direction in the matter. This could really turn out to be one of their best moves for their future.

Does anyone else feel like the rise of iPhone has made the average smartphone user more, for lack of a better word, dumb?

@Master_Soda: Nonono, there's no caps lock 'Key'. You cap should be nice and secure, just make sure you don't ever want to wear it ever again.

@Slinkytech: Who uses Helvetica anymore? Arial is the way to go!

@Rick-e: The article says that a fully charged battery is the thing that kills it, so maybe it it were discharged/charged to 80% before removing, it would have extended the lifetime

@KamWrex: I heard that the bone marrow biopsy hurts like a birch

@Biggy Littlez: I gave Rocketdock a little go, but it doesn't seem to show the programs that I'm running? I did have a look through the options, but nothing about programs. The closest I've got is adding my most used programs to the dock, and there is an indicator when they are running, but in Ubuntu, any open

Hi guys,

@S_Dot: Besides the font on the clock (not my cup of tea, I feel like it doesn't jive well with the whole style you have here), it really looks great! Personally, I like to hide my desktop icons until I need them, I used Fences for that.
