1st:  The auto workers are entitled brats who want to bargain in a way that will sink the company.  Many things they have or want are not sustainable and prevents GM from turning around the company in the face of competition in trucks and the crappy cars they make.  The workers are only making things worse.

UAW is full of it.  They want guarantees on keeping workers.  It is how you destroy a company.  Forcing them to keep workers they might not need or can use.  GM is screwed up with its product lineup but forcing them to keep people is not a solution.
