I also think Baseball has to make a serious effort to clean the game up and I think that's what this is all about - the perception of Baseball keeping the game clean. Some names scrippled on winkled old paper and a compromised witness isn't evidence and Baseball knows this. The leaking the names and the like is to try

I dispute the presumption that most of the general public doesn't care about PEDs in pro sports. I don't think using PEDs makes anyone a villain or an unredeemable person, or justifies a witchhunt...BUT...

Thank you, SimonFenix(Demolition Man was an awesome flick, btw)

I have seen this same behavior before by Anita Sarkeesian, and it is counterproductive. The people who already agree with Lindy are only going to be further enraged, the trolls WILL NEVER STOP OR GO AWAY, and people on the fence, like me, who are trying to

I dig what you are saying about Lindy, but I agree with her choice to call out these trolls, because they really are illustrating exactly the issue they are claiming isn't an issue. It's really quite fascinating, in a way.

The best thing to come from this is Zetterberg's reaction to that turd Pierre Mcguire to eff off when he wanted to interview him. Nobody in Hockey has respect for Pierre.

In what universe do you live in? PC Gaming has been on the rise for the last 6 or so years, we have been getting all of the latest AAA games from developers and most are substantially improved over their console counterparts, we can save hundreds of dollars a year on games because of competition between multiple

That's fine. I'll take my utility, flexibility, longevity and exponentially superior software library. You can keep your endless CoD clones.

The guy with the PC, for the sole reason that we can still use them without an internet connection. With no internet, your $400 Xbox is a $400 paperweight that can play a handful of games for less than a day. My $600 PC is still useful and has full functionality sans a handful of online only games.

My PC doesn't force me to check in with the internet every 24 hours. The oppressive DRM of Steam lets me play my games in offline mode if Time Warner Cable decides to stop working. Unreliable ISP? Too bad, they're all I can choose from.

Can't use mods on an xbox. Also the 'shitty DRM' can be easily side stepped with a PC.

This is perfect, and exactly what I was thinking. I love video game consoles, and I love my gaming PC.

From my FB:

Huh. Honestly, I'm not sure that helped at all, because of the perspective of the camera. I still feel like I don't know how big it is.

You don't understand the nature of internet in the United States, do you? You do realize that a not insignificant number of people are NOT serviced by ANY broadband service at all, right? And that the ISPs of the country aren't interested in wiring them. Probably ever.

Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the stereotypical American who bends over for Corporate America and defends them even though it is against his/her own interest.

Indeed. I was a diehard Xbox fan.

For me, I wasn't going to buy this if it was always online DRM, and then it came out that wasn't going to be included, so I thought I would. Then I watched today and was somewhat impressed and thought I'd buy it at launch if at all possible. Then all this stuff came out about the used game and the quasi-always

Because we're in the middle of fucking nowhere with no personal internet connection.
