The suggestions I think have been made:

The fact that there are folk out there who can get horny looking at a cake pop does not make the fact that 99% of one gender of characters in a game are designed to make 99% of the audience horny while 99% of the other gender is designed to make the audience feel powerful go away.

And if the ratio of 'fuck toys' to 'actual warriors' in games was the same for both genders the argument "Oh hey! Here's a few men who are designed for sex appeal" would actually fly.

Yes yes, please keep beating your poor male heart over how horrible women can be, given they have all the privileges in this world and men are just lucky to be allowed to share it. Where the rape statistics for female on male offenses are higher than the almost non-existent male on female rape numbers.

And again, how does your sexual fantasy tie to treating women as objects? Unless your fantasy is that women should be objects?

Hearted.

No.

Dude. Seriously?

Perhaps because those buff guys without shirts on aren't portrayed as sex objects but as 'something to aspire to'.

There isn't anything inherently wrong about sex appeal. Amusing factiod, the issue isn't about being sexy, how many people do you hear bitching about Bayonetta?

Yes please attempt to move this to the idea that you should be ashamed of sex and not the concept that you shouldn't be treating women as if they were just objects. You would at least have a foot to stand on if that were the actual argument. Which of course, it isn't.

So far you haven't attempted rational discussion, you've just done your best to dismiss everything said as 'irrelevant'. I have no illusion that I can solve YOUR problem. I just don't want it to be seen by others as "OK".

Sure, their back stories make them out to be Norse Valkyries. And then they show up on screen and invariably they look like a fashion model that just got back from having flubber breast and ass implants and their move set is 90% based getting their money's worth out of them and ensuring the player sees as much of them

So I present you a video that points out the whole 'white male privilege' issue and you think the actual counter to this is a video of a woman who knows how to cuss. Good work missing the point.

Ok... So you are invited to this gathering of 'friends' by your Significant Other, the organizer of the event as a reminder, who then proceeds to attempt to turn invisible when one of the other 'friends' turns into a raging asshole and starts making offensive comments about your:

I love how often those who refuse to get this decide to staw man the argument.

Now playing

Yeah, I wonder why men might have fewer issues about it.

If you consider being a misogynic pig the 'norm' for your locker room chats, then that demonstrates the core issue. That being, you are a misogynic pig.

"What's the solution, to make them ugly, how about maybe not have them in there at all? What do you want Stickfighter II?"

Every guy? If that's what you consider the norm, then I think that makes her point more eloquently than anyone could ever hope to.
