The only minus with these is they don't handle DEAD batteries, just almost dying ones. If you want it to operate on a dead battery you have to short the terminals with a live one otherwise the charging circuitry refuses to operate.

I think that's the point and the reason why PAX is superior. If you are going to hawk wares, at least hire people knowledgeable about those wares to do the hawking.
