@pikachugo: "[We're] not already convicting and trying the guy!"

@miss.terious: If they are spinning it, then it's because of one or both of the following:

@SeriesofTubes: Unfortunately, I didn't respond in order of who replied first, which means most of my argument has already been made in other replies and I'll just let you read those rather than state the same thing over and over again.

@basiorana: I don't identify with the acts, I simply know how easy it is for a prosecutor to spin things out of control to turn someone into a monster they really aren't.

@pikachugo: I don't think you understood my point if you are pointing to the indictment as 'proof' of what they've done. For the remainder of my reply, I point you to my response @miss.terious.

@miss.terious: If you notice, the 'timeline' for these events is pretty much the entire time they were together. Which means they don't really know when the abortion occurred just that it did. She was a 16 year old run away, at this stage in the game it's just as likely that she got pregnant before ever meeting him,

I'm going to try to be careful here, as I live in Missouri 'around abouts' the area in question and while I was never really part of the 'scene', I was exposed to a fairly large community of people who were and I don't particularly want my private life to be in the public here.

@Richard Uchytil: This link may be of help. But as the link indicates, WYSIWYG is difficult due to the manner in which the markup is evaluated.

If you aren't in IT, and you aren't planning on being in IT, may I suggest something that won't make your Microsoft Loving co-workers in that department instinctively scream "NO!" and refuse to setup because it's not on the budget?

@ThaMofo: You really don't want to know...

@tammygarrison: I think you make the assumption that's what the list is implying, because no where does it actually do so.

@tammygarrison: The workplace may have been formed in the 'male' image, but it's ruled by politics and drama, and neither gender has a stranglehold on either of those.

@janiejones56: Janie, I think the real problem is you assume that not being perceived as a bitch, being considered a team player, or being 'someone who can be trusted' are items which will help you succeed in any 'meritocracy'.

@LittleDragon: The problem here isconfirmation bias is real and hard to counteract in a situation like this if you aren't actively keeping a log of some sort.

@kabuk1: One of the most depressing things I realized early in life is that I need to decide if I wanted to play by the "I learned everything I need to know, I learned in Kindergarten" rules or get ahead. Because the two were in conflict most of the time.

@Merricat: PS. This isn't a guide written by Citibank, it's an excerpt from a book that was published back in 2004.

@westendgirl: God gave us all voices. But most of us pick our volume on our own and if your goal is 'getting ahead' being the quiet one in the room is not to your advantage when the others in the room are also looking to 'get ahead' and aren't quiet.
