Weather is not climate. Michigan is not the world. Define many and define knowledgeable. You blindly follow people who tell you to ignore peer review and the scientific process and basically any established protocol that generates results that disagree with your world view. It's far more likely that they are correct

6 and counting #corrections

I am seeing a bit of hipster on hipster backlash developing about acting superior to non soccer fans inside the bubble in which we live. The new hipster thing is to welcome newcomers, point out how AMERICAN this all is, that Soccer is a perfectly good word and MLS actually is rough because it's like playing in Brazil

Also, I see now I'm still drunk.

Was at firs, yeah I see where you're going, but the the massive bite made this a COTD contender. +2

This was better than your twitter response. +.500 on the day so far

However, you apparently didn't type with yours.

the hilarious thing is that he's now coaching... In Sweden.

DeAndre Yedlin. #corrections. Otherwise good read, thanks!

except on corners and free kicks

He's not the leader anymore. Deuce is. Klinsmann had this pegged since the trip to Cambodia.

first generation hispanics no, they're not going. It's in the second generations who never lived anywhere else that you see the growth.

Except nothing you wrote applies to MLS.

Those shirts are shit, total shit. Can't decide if they look more like Blowpops or Domino's Delivery uniforms.

There was one play where he cut inside and slipped past both lines to pick a pass out of nowhere that was amazing, but then he got tied up in the box and couldn't figure it out. Between that and the dive for that foul that wasn't called later, those gave me a positive feeling about the kid.

point: missed

we could be if our speedsters didn't have superballs for feet, their first touches flying to parts unknown.

I think one of the reasons Americans don't get soccer is that you really don't need to be an athlete in any way other than to kick a ball and not throw up after running 90 minutes to be an amazing player.

Physical size, power and speed are no match for intelligence, spatial awareness and creativity in soccer. They can help compensate for deficiencies, but relying on those traits will not end well. It's a bad criteria for selecting players to develop.
