@weirdette: Oh yeah - I feel so callous, but I simply have to turn away from that commercial. It makes me cry EVERY SINGLE TIME. And now every time I hear that song the images from the commercial go through my head.
@Kitten is an 80s rocker (now with Jez street cred!): Makes me wanna walk alla way to NOLA and see what he's up for....er, to. ;-)
We never get a chance to get to the shelter to adopt. They all seem to just wander up hungry, sometimes frightened, sometimes friendly, some pregnant, some babies, some full grown. We just can't resist. We give them a home.
@SnotFace: Call in. My best advice. I can't control myself in those situations either and I agree with the commenter who said this constitutes a personal day. I'm so sorry you have to endure this. I've gone through losing them to accidents and having to put them down. It sucks. I hope you will soon be able to…
@Kitten is an 80s rocker (now with Jez street cred!): O Holy Night is my all-time favorite above all others even though I practice an alternative religion. Second favorite is Harry Connick, Jr's version of Silver Bells. It just rocks.
@GoZombieGo: Is it wrong that I cried with laughter at this story? It started with "I THINK I KNOW MY OWN GODDAMN NAME". Hilarious. I'm sorry you had to live through that. People are just stupid. But man it sure is a funny story.
@kittykat998: He didn't become an awesome kid on his own. I suspect he's got a kind and generous mommy. I hope his wishes come true this Christmas.
@Leanne: I haven't, but I'll definitely add them to my list. I'm currently in the middle of Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series. I love it. The recent YA stuff is pretty good.
@Leanne: Me too. Fantasy chicks rule. hehe
@LuckyDice: What is WITH the fantasy hate (or at the very least conspicuous disregard). It's about all I ever read. Just picked up Towers at Midnight.
There is definitely no cup in that photo #1. Nope. No cup whatsoever.
The most perfect pit wax. Ever.

I am shocked. Gail's wearing the Alexander McQueen I have on my Polyvore (mine's the darker brown version). I like it better in brown. The heather gray looks cheap and sweats-ish.
@pantybuns: two thumbs up, yo - besides - didn't someone say 40's the new 30?
I just don't have the stamina for a midnight showing any more. Especially after working all day and having to get up and work the next day. So we opted for the 9:30 am Saturday morning showing. I loved that this one wasn't rushed. I loved the pace. Nicely done.
It warms my heart to encounter someone who just might love the "F" word a li'l bit more than I do.
making shower curtains into red carpet wear....?
I want to hang out with Susan Sarandon. Like bad.
