Counter-point: a dude literally wandering from town to town in search of his son, fighting to stay alive in a shitty world not of his making, is actually not a bad use of the song at all.

Is this a “clenched fist of truth” or should I interpret this as a call to violence and to kill those they disagree with?

Their influence has been growing, however, because they started getting more and more money from manufacturers and started lobbying and advertising.

The ad doesn’t actually advocate the use of a gun at anytime. I guess you could maybe consider the part where she says,”the police have to step in and do their jobs”. But calling for the police to do their jobs and straight up advocating murder are two very different things.

Are you suggesting that the millions of people who shoot guns for recreation are using them improperly?

it’s about time that those of us on the left started embracing, owning, and carrying them

I typically like to stay out of these arguments on Jalopnik. Im going to take the leap this time though.

I mean the ad at NO POINT encourages anyone to use a gun on anyone else.

I’m with you, but could you point out where she advocates murder in that ad you linked to? I’d like to denounce it, but don’t see where the ad advocated for murder.

30000 deaths just in the US every year is a low enough number that we let everyone and absolutely everyone drive. That’s about 1 every 18 minutes and we do not even blink, yet god forbid someone “has concerns” that possibly maybe someone unlikely but possible not really totally yet near impossibly want to kill someone

He knows how consumers are modifying them to work beyond their intended capabilities, potentially making them lethal.

I keep telling people looking for new TVs to get one with good HDR instead of just focusing on the 4K feature. Seeing things in 4k vs 1080p can be a marginal improvement, HDR vs standard is often night and day.

You will need a screwdriver, a pair of tweezers, a magnifying glass (optional), some salt (~1tbsp), and a bag of chicken feed, preferably corn-based.

This is probably the best use of that joke, ever.

“Well James, he’s driven off a cliff and is now engulfed in flames”

Does that mean he’s not coming on then?

Which says nothing unless the people with those items intended to use them on the flights.

How many of those guns would have been caught by pre-TSA security? If the answer is anywhere near 73, then that supports the conclusion that the TSA is security theater. I would think the metal detectors that have been in use for decades are pretty good at detecting guns.

Yes, they discovered some firearms... from normal people that accidentally forgot about them. None were from terrorists, know how I know that? The TSA had *never* once stopped a terrorist.

That’s a tired cliche.
