I think they were going for a ‘shiny but not polished, used armor’ look. Like, yeah, it’s Chromium plated, but I don’t have slaves spending half the day polishing it all the time. I don't see that as smudges more than just used and not overly fussed with.

Is this limited to the gen2 NESTs? I've got a gen1 and have had zero problems, aside from it getting a bit creative in automatic adjustments at times.

Well, the checker choked on my system, because I use a GTX 780 alongside a GTX 460 dedicated to physics. It just looks at the 460 and says ‘NOPE’.

Maybe it gets better after season 1? (I've only gotten that far to date)
