I’m on a Final Fantasy overload right now and this isn’t helping. Finished FFXV, played World of FF right after, replaying Type-0 HD, and I got this to look forward to now.

World of Final Fantasy was one of the most pleasant surprises this year for me. There’s a bit more depth to it than I was expecting and there’s honestly more story to it than FFXV. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy FFXV either cause I dumped 100 hours into it and finished everything except fill out the ascension grid.

Something like that has to be an all day job, but I can see how one could be satisfied after something like that.

One of the things I liked about 1.0 was the branching dungeons and requirements to get certain pieces of armor in dungeons, made it feel way more interesting than just RNG all day.

These things are banned in other fighting game tourneys for a reason, it’s a clear advantage
