I also got the "you're fat" diagnosis for a fibroid from two doctors!!! I was exercising like a fiend and my personal trainer couldn't figure out why my abdomen was getting bigger. She was the one who suggested I see a MD. Better diagnosis from a PT than an MD.

Frankly, I do think that some of the outrage is because Ms. Fluke is a nice white girl, but you make excellent points. I also think that her not being a political figure (at the time) fueled a lot of the anger.
