"beatings surpass the mere aging"....I agree with what you're saying, but I'd lie if I didn't say given the context of the situation that the word choice didn't jump out at me.

I can understand the amusement. Not that this game meant anything to the Sox, but I've gotten to the point where his misery, and the miserable play by play only pours salt on my..miserable wounds. I'm a miserable person, overall. That's what I'm trying to say.
Over the last two years I've watched enough miserable White Sox baseball that I can tell you that it's not priceless at all. Hawk getting sick all over himself is a regular occurrence.
Or a War Machine....too soon?

You win the day. Flawless victory.
No one wants to see Jay Cutler. Please strike "Bears" off this list and add Mo'Ne Davis/Jackie Robinson West sportsmanship/highlights.
Or give her clarity that she shouldn't blame herself for a thing and to get away from this violent piece of trash?
Oh yeah. It would be terrible to enable her relationship with her abuser...
This is a dying league full of dinosaurs. It's a perfect storm of treating women and black athletes like cattle, owners who suppressed the research regarding brain injuries mixed together with insatiable greed.
Does the UFC use the NFL as a role model when dealing with domestic violence or is it vice versa?
Not always. Not always.
I'm sorry, I wasn't knocking the researchers. I should rephrase "lawsuits to force people to accept scientific research and fund them." But I swear I did the ice bucket challenge and understand ;-)
I disagree with the witch hunt. It was first found in an NFL player, and so it only makes sense to figure out all the links there before pursuing other avenues. And the NFL protested so much, trying to discredit the research, you can't blame the researchers for focusing there. Not only to prove a point, but to stick…
No one is checked for CTE unless the brain is donated or requested. I've done some reading as a friend has experienced brain injuries and was curious about the subject. Unless the deceased has exhibited some major head trauma, the researchers won't want the brain. Most of these researchers wants something meaty to get…
The kids are much more classier and mature than you. And me (bear with me). Because you are a raging rectum. (There go my maturity points. It was worth it.)
It's not good news that he has soreness. Good news would be he's playing. But IT'S NOT BAD NEWS either. It's normal. Bad news would be he's being sent home to doctors for another opinion. Man, if sports fans knew as much about health/medical information as they do about chicken wings, stories like this wouldn't be so…
Disagree. If Xbox One is lagging behind the PS4 as some are reporting, this is great news for the viability of the system and could help ensure future development of titles. Having more strong platforms with lots to play benefits the gamer. This could be a much-needed shot in the arm for MS.
But we know with the NBA, with the player's well-manicured images, would never just allow it on Twitter alone. Would need a major release/announcement on paulgeorge.com or something. As far as why people want to see it? Most folks not in the medical field don't know much about health. It represents a way to peer…
The Dystopian futures created in the 80s sure had a lot of white dudes protecting humanity. I guess the white nerd writers were projecting their fantasies a little bit. WHITE DUDES WITH POWERS DOING STUFF.
