There are curved swords ya know.

The combat is simplistic, but fun. The story is pretty out there and hard to follow. But you won't find a game with better art honestly. It's worth the ride, especially for a reduced price.

I liked Journey a lot, and think it's a great game. I enjoyed the triumphant ending, but I don't think it was a fantastic ending. Like most of the game, it's just going from point A to point B. The ending is point B. It's so stripped down that I lose interest on multiple playthroughs.

Bear in mind that Sakaguchi is now making Party Wave.

XIV 2.0 comes out on PS3 early 2013 I think. I don't have a PC that can play XIV so I'm fine waiting.

I didn't even start until the 3rd expansion came out, and I played for years and years. You do have to play catch up, but usually you'll run into a group of people around your level. And they'll have friends that are higher level and like helping people do things.

XI was not playable casually, but I hear XIV is. I can't tell you from personal experience, but that's what friends have told me when trying to talk me into playing.

His account just got approved. He couldn't see any of his own posts, so he kept trying.

Me too!

Yeah, maybe all those "remake VII and you'll see piles of gold!" commenters will shut up for a while now.

Now playing

XIV looks great, and it's not even 2.0 yet. I think I might have to come out of MMO retirement and try it on PS3. Casually, not like back in my prime on XI.

I think the use of the word "they" in the headline is potentially troublesome. I'd change it to clarify who you're talking about.

Definitely not impossible to get. hmmmm, artbooks always make good presents.

Seriously, that would be amazing.

I don't think this is going to be a major problem for them at all. In some ways, it's even ideal.

ahhh, me too.
