I'm pretty sure the kamina one was intentional. That episode was animated completely different than the rest, so everything looked a little off.

I can't find the thread, but in regards to metal gear not being like anime, it totally is. Besides raiden doing all his anime like actions in MGS4. In MGS1, when you first meet otacon, he says, and I quote, "this is just like my Japanese anime." So, MG is like anime.

Seriously, out of all the comics to cover, MLP gets recognition but Talon isn't even mentioned. Considering its written by Scott Snyder (who also has written all of the excellent new 52 Batman books) it's a shame I don't see it get more attention, yet this highly overrated piece of media does. Bah.
