The truck wars are almost reminding me of smartphones in a way. We’re kind of at the point where manufacturers have started to run out of meaningful things to develop for their trucks so they’re just making them bigger and adding on more shit nobody really needs or uses, all while jacking the price up.

Does Toyota have circa 2005 GM too-big-to-fail syndrome? Models dragging on for far too long, a staid and boring lineup, fewer features than the competition, and nothing really worth buying?
