That gong is reason enough to not have a stereo in a car. I swear to god every time I hear that in one of these cars I’d take a pick axe to each and every speaker in the car to make it stop.

The answer is Malibu. When its a malibu you junk it, don’t ask questions, just do it.
Depends on the car. If it is something that an enthusiast might potentially be interested in or may have some value, i.e. blown motor, but nice body, I’d get on a make/gen specific forum and try to sell it there. There are many forums available for all sorts of vehicles and generally they have classifieds sections…
Especially the average Ford F250/350 owner.
because I personally drive something like 25K a year and even with the diesels available over here we’re capped out at something like 40 mpg. On a trip to england I absolutely hooned a 308 for two weeks for all it was worth and still made 45 mpg with it.
Crack pipe, and I only say this, because that is decent E46 money. Comfort of an E46 vs. E30 is lightyears away. My feet actually fit in the pedal box, I have some semblance of power, neat features like a CD player, and possible hookup for my iPod.

Five years? Not even. On Star already has the ability to do reflashing of “selected” modules.
.....continuing the trend of less than zero outward visibility in car. When are they going to put surround view cameras in these things just so you can navigate through traffic?
Too far? Do tell.
Never knowing the history of a vehicle and having to take apart different areas of a vehicle to replace different components you may never end up seeing the whole story until several more layers are uncovered. I really feel bad about the whole way the business went down with that customer, but again I have learned…
I had a customer with a Mercedes E500, air suspension, the whole lot. They were complaining about a creaking noise when the steering was turned. They went to several shady shops in Dearborn, got recommendations on what they needed to replace and came to me with parts to install. First red flag, enormous box, from rock…
Even better.... new Previa, i’ve seen them cruising the streets of michigan.
Oh we’re out here. If you’re referencing my avatar you can calm down, the truck is stationary on a dyno being loaded at the time. Different tunes for racing vs. driving on the street. Clean as a whistle there.
Maybe not the air, but certainly the average guido’s quiff I’m sure.
We have a massive chart in the garage at my day job that lists off all the lug nut torques for most modern cars post about 1980. Unilug Porsches come in near the highest with something like 414 ft lbs for recommended wheel torque.
